It's Wednesday, the day I get to wait in the car, and a great time to crochet. There was bonus waiting time today since youngest daughter had an orthodontist appointment, so I decided to test the fingerless glove pattern I posted yesterday.
I had just about 2 ounces left of a skein of Vanna's Choice yarn, and I think it's going to be just enough. I worked up the right-hand glove (all but the joining); didn't fasten off, obviously; and then started the left-hand glove with the other end of the yarn.
This way, if there's not quite enough yarn, I can rip out two or four rows on the right-hand glove and even up the two. The good thing about this ribbed single crochet stitch is that it makes a fabric soooo stretchy that 24 or even maybe 22 rows (instead of the 26 as written) will still produce a well-fitting glove. It took less than an hour to get the first one done -- that's how simple this pattern is.
Please visit my new positive thinking blog, Optimystically. I wrote about visualizing dreams and desires today, and I'd love to get your feedback!

Great use of time, I love to read or knit at a appointment, its like you have been gifted with a simple amount of time.
