Free Pattern and More Positive Thinking

There's a new, free fingerless glove pattern (what else?) on my website today.  Crocheted with a size J hook, these gloves work up fast and easy using just two ounces of worsted weight yarn.

Remember the other day when I was wondering who sent me the Guideposts subscription?  Well, the mystery is solved.  It came from a dear friend of mine from high school with whom I still keep in touch.  The gift card somehow wasn't included with the first issue, but Guideposts customer service was very apologetic and helpful in tracking down the identity of my thoughtful friend.

All this talk of positive thinking (certainly one of my all-time favorite subjects) re-energized my interest in the topic and the many benefits it provides those who practice it consistently.  To that end, I started a new blog today!  It's called Optimystically, and I'd so appreciate it if you'd stop by and share some of your own positive thinking ideas, strategies and encouragement.
